Sheriff’s Office Announces Release of NEW Website
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the release of its Police-to-Citizen (P2C) website,
p2c.fcso.us. This website will allow citizens to query Sheriff’s Office records from January 1, 2008 forward.
Such functionality includes searching incident reports, arrest records, wanted persons, and inmate information from any internet connected computer. Many reports which previously required a visit to the Sheriff’s Office can now be obtained and printed anywhere in the world.
Incidents and arrests may be searched by name, date, or location. After a result is returned, users may then plot the results on a map, provided by Google Maps. One possible use for the listed functionality would be to allow users to plot all crimes near their home.
Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office is able to publish most wanted individuals, missing persons, and community events through the P2C site.
The Sheriff’s Office P2C website is based on Sungard Public Sector OSSI’s P2C software.
For any questions regarding P2C, please contact Major Brad Stanley at (336) 917-7006.
