Sheriff's Office to Receive Donation

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be the recipient of the Annual Care Bear Ride donation sponsored by the Honda Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA). Sheriff William T. Schatzman will be accepting the donation of teddy bears from the area chapter of GWRRA, and these new teddy bears will be utilized by sheriff’s deputies to distribute to children in need or who have been exposed to a crisis situation.

On Saturday morning, July 17th, at 9:00 am, members of the GWRRA will assemble at the Honda Dealership on Stratford Road in Winston-Salem. Sheriff’s deputies will then escort GWRRA members of the local chapter on their motorcycles to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, located at 120 West Third Street in Winston-Salem. At approximately 9:30 am, the presentation of the teddy bears will be made to Sheriff William T. Schatzman from GWRRA.
