Corporal Jesse Butler

After 11 years of service to Forsyth County, Corporal Jesse Butler has retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Corporal Butler began his service in 1999 at the LEDC as a Detention Officer and was promoted to Corporal in 2005. His professionalism and work ethic gained the respect of those he supervised and worked with. Many fellow employees often commented on Corporal Butler’s contagious smile and upbeat attitude. Congratulations Corporal Butler!

Corporal Claybourn Harper

Corporal Claybourn Harper has retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office after 12 years of service to Forsyth County’s citizens. Corporal Harper began his LE career with the NC Department of Corrections. After 30 years of service, he retired and joined the FCSO team in 1999 as a Detention Officer at the LEDC. In 2005, Corporal Harper was promoted to Classification Caseworker working with inmates. His compassionate nature and drive to help others allowed Corporal Harper to effectively manage, guide and encourage inmates throughout his career. Congratulations Corporal Harper!

Lawrence Davis

After 15 years of service to Forsyth County, Lawrence Davis has retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Davis began his service in 1996 at the LEDC as a Detention Officer and was transferred to the LEDC Warehouse. Mr. Davis has always taken pride in the organization, inventory and efficiency of the warehouse. He always made sure officer’s closets were supplied with the necessary materials needed during shifts. Congratulations Mr. Davis!
