Lieutenant Richard Brown Retires

Lieutenant Brown began his law enforcement career in 1986 with the Walnut Cove Police Department and Stokes County Sheriff’s Office. He began his career at the FCSO in October 1987. Lieutenant Brown has served in many areas of law enforcement throughout his career, including the Law Enforcement Detention Center, Transportation, Civil, Crime Prevention, Procurement, Courtroom Security, School Resource Officer and Community Policing.

Lieutenant Brown also coordinated the first Citizen’s Academy at the FCSO in March.

Lieutenant Brown’s knowledge and guidance will be missed and we wish him the best in all future endeavors. Congratulations Lieutenant Brown!
