Sergeant Daniel Huttar began his Law Enforcement career in 1990 with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) as a Detention Officer. He has worked in Detention Security Services and a longtime member of the Special Response Team at the Law Enforcement Detention Center.
Sergeant Huttar was named detention staff member of the month in June 2011, and he has received several letters of commendation. Sergeant Huttar is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Army National Guard. While deployed, he received numerous medals, to include: USMC Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War of Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War of Terrorism Service Medal and Armed Forces Reserve Medal.
