Captain Joey Redmon Retires

Captain Redmon began his Law Enforcement career in 1989 with the Winston-Salem Police Department as a Police Officer. In 1994, he joined the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to Patrol. Captain Redmon has worked in Community Policing, Patrol, Administrative Services and Judicial Services.

Captain Redmon has served as a K-9 Deputy Sheriff and as commander of the FCSO Motorcycle Team. He has earned an Advanced Law Enforcement Training certificate from the North Carolina Sheriff’s Education and Training Standards Commission. Captain Redmon has also been awarded the Meritorious Service Award in 1999 and an Advance Service Award in 2014.
