Major Danny L. Carter Retires

Major Danny L. Carter began his Law Enforcement career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office on November 30, 1995, as a Deputy Sheriff. During his career, Major Carter earned several promotions, with his most recent promotion to the rank of Major on December 05, 2015.

Throughout the course of his career, Major Carter served in varying positions within the Court Security Section, Patrol Section, Training Section, Fleet/Procurement, Administrative Services Division, and Field Services Division. At the time of his retirement, Major Carter was the Major of the Enforcement Bureau.
