Mr. Ernest G. Simmons Retires

Mr. Ernest Simmons began his Law Enforcement career in 1993 as a Detention Officer. Mr. Simmons was promoted to a Detention Computer Technician in 2002. The Detention Computer Technician position was re-classified to the Department IT Support Technician.

During his career, Mr. Simmons received the 25 Years Service Commendation Bar and an honorary rank to Private First Class.

Mr. Simmons served in the US Air Force for three (3) years. He was an Aircrew Life Support Specialist and he received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Mr. Ernest Simmons all the best in his future endeavors.
