Detention Sergeant Lori Pounders

Detention Sergeant Lori Pounders began her Law Enforcement career in 2003. Sergeant Pounders earned several promotions throughout her career with her last promotion to the rank of Detention Sergeant in 2022.

During her career, Sergeant Pounders earned the North Carolina DOJ General Detention Officer Certificate and the North Carolina DOJ Probationary Detention Officer Certificate.

Detention Sergeant Pounders received the FCSO Correctional Peace Officers Foundation Award, the FCSO Life Saving Award, two (2) Letters of Commendation, and the FCSO 15 Years’ Service Commendation Bar.

Throughout the course of her career, Detention Sergeant Pounders served in various capacities within the Law Enforcement Detention Center.
