Major Gary East Retires

Major Gary East began his Law Enforcement career in 1993 with the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office. On July 5, 2023, he was hired by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. Major East earned several promotions throughout his career with his most recent promotion to the rank of Major in July 2022. During his career, Major East received a few letters of commendation.

Throughout the course of his career, Major East served in various capacities within the Enforcement Services Bureau. At the time of his retirement, he was the Major of the Support Services Bureau.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Major Gary East all the best in his future endeavors.
