Located at 911 E. Fifth St. in Winston-Salem, Station 8 is the Headquarters for the EMS Division, It houses the Administration, Operations, Logistics, Training, Quality Management and Billing Sections.
The two-story facility is complete with administrative offices, a Conference Room, a large Training Room, Supervisor's Office, Assistant Supervisor's Office, Training Office and Lab, Day Room, Kitchen, multiple storage areas, twelve (12) apparatus bays and a small warehouse. Multiple ALS ambulances, 805 (operated by the Assistant Supervisor) and 804 (operated by the Supervisor) are housed and operated from Station 8. The Medical Support Unit (MSU) and the Medical Support Trailer (MST) also operate from this location.
