Corporal Vaughn, on two occasions, has prevented contraband from entering the Law Enforcement Detention Center. Due to his diligence and persistence in conducting his duties, he was able to locate illegal substances and thus prevented the substances from entering the facility. Corporal Vaughn is also a team player, often reporting early to his shift to assist fellow employees to process inmates.

Based on Corporal Vaughn’s outstanding work ethic and thorough search tactics, he is recognized as Detention Officer of the Month.
