Warren works closely with all four security teams, medical staff and mental health. Cpl. Warren provides the security teams with information on each inmate’s custody level, restrictions, medical or mental health instructions, keep separate information, and special handling instructions. Each week she provides the special classification review board with recommendations and referrals on possible changes to inmate’s classification status.
Cpl. Warren makes referrals for inmates to participate in the Special Needs Inmate Management program. She monitors each inmate’s progress weekly and makes referrals about possible changes in their custody level and classification status. She works closely with mental health staff in building relationships with the Facilities mental health inmates to help them adjust while incarcerated. In addition, Cpl. Warren has partnered with onsite Mental Health Staff and the Counties Local Management Entity in establishing contacts and resources for special needs inmates’ re-entry to the community.
