Accreditation Manager Lewis Moore has put forth countless hours striving to accomplish the goal of the FCSO becoming CALEA accredited. Through many months of preparation, the goal was reached on July 31, 2010 when the FCSO was awarded initial accreditation through CALEA. Obtaining accreditation was a difficult yet rewarding task and will be an ongoing process to maintain. Accreditation identifies the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as one of the most professional law enforcement agencies in North Carolina and the United States.

Lewis Moore is hard working, meticulous, and organized. Those attributes paired with his knowledge on accreditation procedures prove him to be an asset to this agency.
