Corporal Hinson has been employed with the FCSO Detention Division since 2006. He is currently assigned as a Classification Case Manager. He can be relied upon to handle difficult situations and has excellent communication skills when dealing with inmates and staff.

On November 20, 2012 while assisting detention staff during meal breaks, Corporal Hinson responded to the 6 North control Room. An inmate had pressed the emergency button and Corporal Hinson observed the inmate leaning against the cell door. The inmate had fallen and was numb on the right side of his body.

Corporal Hinson immediately called medical staff and assisted the inmate until help arrived. Once medical staff had evaluated the inmate, he was transported to the hospital. Due to Corporal Hinson’s quick response and actions, the inmate received medical care that saved his life. Congratulations Corporal Hinson!
