Frannie is assigned to the Training Section as a Senior Office Assistant and has been employed with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since July, 2010. She is responsible for ensuring that training records for all agency staff members are maintained and entered into the Records Management System. With over five hundred agency staff members, this is an extremely time consuming task in itself. Frannie also is responsible for preparing new hire orientation manuals, submitting training request applications for staff members desiring to attend outside agency supplemental instruction, and assisting with various administrative duties within the Training Section.
Although Frannie has a full workload in her assigned position, she willingly takes on additional responsibilities to assist other areas within the agency. Recently, Frannie assisted with creating an annual report to assist with agency accreditation. This was a lengthy project that required attention to detail while compiling data and organizing it in written format. She often assists FCSO Human Resources with tasks such as planning promotional ceremonies and sending out invitations. Frannie is known as a “go to” person who always is willing to assist anyone while maintaining a positive and pleasant attitude towards any project given to her.
Because of her ability to not only thoroughly complete her assigned duties, but her willingness to assist other areas within the agency with projects, Frannie deserves Civilian Staff Member of the Month for March 2013.
