On August 5th, while performing daily duties, Detention Officers J. Owens, T. Campbell, C. Nowlin and Deputy Atkins responded to a medical emergency in 8 South special housing unit. They observed an inmate unresponsive and immediately began CPR and continued until EMS arrived.

They used their training and emergency response skills to save the life of another person. Their teamwork and quick thinking proved to be another shining example of the hard work and dedication FCSO staff members display on a daily basis.
