During the month of December, the FCSO received an e-mail regarding the exemplary service received from Deptuy J. Boysel. Deputy Boysel is currently assigned to Clemmons Community Policing and has over four years of service with the FCSO. Below is the commendation written by a Clemmons resident:

"I felt that it was absolutely necessary to let you know how much Jeff Boysel has been a sense of great comfort to myself and my family's feeling of safety and security in the past couple of months. He is an extraordinary officer and protector of this great community. My first interaction with Mr. Boysel was when he expounded his vast knowledge of car seats and the need to properly install and utilize them. I was ignorant to believe that I had it completely covered, however, was quick to discover that I hadn't fully understood all the dos and don'ts to ensure my two daughters were maximizing the safety features of their respective seats. His willingness to take the time to ensure my children's seats were installed and utilized properly didn't seem like just a job to him, but truly something that mattered. Most recently, I had my car broken into when I was working out at the Jerry Long Family YMCA on 12/19. Mr. Boysel arrived immediately and was beyond helpful in an unfortunate situation. Aside from taking down all of the pertinent pieces of information necessary to complete the report, Mr. Boysel provided sound and efficacious advice that resulted in obtaining video surveillance at the gas station where my debit card was used by the thief or thieves. He also helped connect me with the appropriate staff member needed to secure finger prints left on the handle of my car near where the window was broken. All of Mr. Boysel's exemplary service is appreciated by myself and family. He seems to really enjoy what he does and is evidenced by how well he serves our community. He is an outside the box thinker and very solicitous about the welfare of our community's citizens. We count ourselves lucky to have crossed paths with Jeff Boysel and thank him for his service."
