On January 22, 2014 the FCSO assisted Davie County Sheriff's Office with a major event. This occurred near shift change and Telecommunicator Jason Knight volunteered to stay. Jason assisted with answering phones and transferring information. During the event, the Mobile Command Unit was activated. Additional hand-held radios were needed and Jason transported them to the garage without question.

Jason is highly regarded in the Telecommunications Section by fellow staff members and supervision. Jason is very mindful of his duties and often offers to assist others. He follows through with tasks and fulfills the duties of lead operator when necessary.
