On September 14th while conducting safety rounds, Detention Officer Crews discovered that an inmate had removed her jumpsuit and tied it around her neck. She immediately called a code orange/suicide attempt. Detention Officer Crews and fellow officers were able to remove the jumpsuit and prevent the inmate from committing suicide.

Detention Officer Crews has been employed with the FCSO for two years. She has been assigned to several dormitories and has proven to be a valuable member of the agency. Detention Officer Crews’ diligence in her duties and taking control of a life threatening situation helped save the life of an inmate.
