In December 2014, the Processing Services Section began planning for an annual coworker gift exchange. Mr. Saylor suggested to donate money to a worthy cause instead of purchasing gifts. With a unanimous agreement, a decision was made to donate gift cards to the Battered Women’s Shelter in Winston-Salem. Others staff members of the FCSO were inspired to give and even make holiday snacks for the women and children. With the assistance of supervision, the gift cards and treats were delivered and kindly accepted. Mr. Saylor’s selfless idea demonstrated compassion for others and increased sense of community to everyone involved.
Mr. Saylor is currently a Records Specialist in the Process Intake Unit. He has been with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since June 2011.
