Ms. Jones transferred to the Field Services Division as the Administrative Assistant in July 2014. She has proven to be an invaluable resource to officers assigned to this division and was an integral part in making the Sheriff’s Citizens Academy a successful event. The Sheriff’s Citizens Academy has been a work in progress for approximately two years. Ms. Jones took ownership of the project and became the central person responsible for coordinating the academy.
The Sheriff’s Citizen Academy lasted ten weeks and was a huge success. Ms. Jones ensured that the classroom setting was always very neat and orderly and that all teaching and student materials were available as needed. She spent many Thursday evenings working past her normal shift hours to ensure each class session was perfect. The manner in which Ms. Jones conducted herself during the Sheriff’s Citizens Academy is evidence of her dedication to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
