Ms. Christina Howell was hired on May 11th, 2015 as the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) Accreditation Manager for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO). She has immersed herself in the accreditation process and has learned very quickly. Ms. Howell's primary task is to prepare the FCSO for reaccreditation to maintain the status as one of the very few accredited sheriff’s offices in the state of North Carolina.
Ms. Howell immediately built rapport and working relationships with FCSO staff members to ensure necessary standard proofs were submitted in a timely manner. Her friendly disposition and professional demeanor made the process run smoothly to successfully complete the CALEA Mock Assessment in November. Accreditation assessors highly praised Ms. Howell for her knowledge and work in a short amount of time.
Ms. Howell has proven to be a dedicated employee. The FCSO will complete the full CALEA Accreditation Assessment in March of 2016. With Ms. Howell’s demonstrated determination, the FCSO will remain a fully accredited law enforcement agency.
