On December 25, 2015, while working at the Intake processing area, Deputy Towery conducted a routine pat down search of an arrestee. Deputy Towery located a piece of plastic in the subject’s shirt pocket containing a white powder. The findings were returned to the arresting officer and the subject was charged felony possession of controlled substance in prison/jail.
By conducting a thorough and systematic search of the arrestee, Deputy Towery was able to stop contraband from entering the facility. The control of contraband is a very serious policy in the jail and Deputy Towery is applauded for his actions.
