Deputy Brown is a well-respected SRO assigned to West Forsyth High School. A faculty member who works at his assigned school wrote a letter stating that his commitment to the students and staff shine through.

"Deputy Brown went out of his way to escort a class on a field trip that needed extra adult support/supervision. He is always speaking to students and being friendly. Due to his strong partnership with West Forsyth High School he makes the faculty members feel safer. His support gives students a valuable role model and he’s always full of information. I have on numerous occasions observed Deputy Brown's support and care for the students and staff at West Forsyth. This type of attitude is what allows Law Enforcement to help change negative perspectives. He is accomplishing this goal one child at a time. "
