On July 22, 2017, while working as the Kitchen Officer at the LEDC, Officer Fry went above and beyond the call of duty while exhibiting great initiative. The food service provider personnel assigned to work the kitchen showed up to work extremely sick and then left being too sick to work. With no other food service personnel available to come in to cover the shift, Officer Fry took on the duties as both the Kitchen Officer and the overseer of food preparation for the Inmate breakfast line.

Officer Fry completed the breakfast service line and completed the necessary tasks of a food service supervisor while maintaining the safety and security of the facility, and performing all the assigned duties of being the Kitchen Officer.

Officer Fry never hesitates to perform all tasks assigned to him. This instance is a testament to the passion and dedication he shows for his job with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
