On August 24th, Detention Officer C. Parker observed several inmates exhibiting strange and unusual behavior in the 6D Housing Unit. Upon further investigation, she received information that the inmates had consumed and were still in possession of, an unauthorized controlled substance. Detention Officer Parker notified her command staff and after a thorough investigation, the controlled substance was discovered. As a result of Officer Parkers' keen observation and due diligence, the unauthorized controlled substance was removed from the facility and the perpetrator was criminally charged.

Detention Officer Parker has been employed with the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center since August of 2016.
