The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Permits staff handled a record number of civilians during the month of February. Compared to February 2017 the permits staff saw an increase of 50% in Concealed Carry Permit requests, a 100% increase in Purchase Permit requests, and a 170% increase in fingerprinting requests. The Permits staff was able to maintain the additional work without getting behind or backed up on requests by making sure they were working efficiently. The staff understands the importance of their job and are rarely absent. They work great together as a team making sure the work is complete and are always looking for ways to work efficiently in their area to maintain a customer service level that is unparalleled.

The Permits Staff are commended for working hard and diligently during the month of February to keep up with the demand of their services and dedication to the agency.
