Ms. A. Sims was hired as Public Information Officer in July 2021 without prior professional experience in the role. In the last year and a half, she has grown immensely. Ms. Sims handles her assigned duties with efficiency and competency, prioritizing the needs of the agency. She is a team player, committed to assisting areas outside of her assigned duties, and going above and beyond without complaint. Ms. Sims has proven herself to be a dedicated member of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) family, attending ride-along, training, and agency events outside of normal work hours. During the month of December, she attended each of the parades that the FCSO participated in, assisting in documenting the events for sharing on social media. This was in addition to her normal assigned duties of being available for media inquiries and press releases outside of business hours. Ms. Sims holds a unique position within the agency that can be extremely demanding at times. She juggles the needs of this agency without complaints or excuses when called for assistance. Ms. Sims continues to prove herself to be a trusted and valuable member of our FCSO family.
