September Enforcement Staff Member of the Month

On 09/04/2024, David Platoon's supervisor received a phone call. The lady called wished to extend a heartfelt thank you to Deputy Roman for going above and beyond. On 08/29/2024, Deputy Roman located a wallet that belonged to her husband. Deputy Roman worked diligently to locate contact information to return the wallet to its owner. The address on the driver’s license was not the current address; however, Deputy Roman was able to determine their current address. He drove to their residence and returned the wallet. All contents including money, credit cards, and identification card were still inside. The lady expressed her profound gratitude for Deputy Roman’s efforts. She believed he deserved recognition and we agree. Deputy Roman routinely completes thorough investigations and does not seek recognition for doing so. He demonstrates professionalism and a drive to serve the members of the community he protects daily. We at the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and County are fortunate to have him as a member of our team.
